Sledge
This is a step-by-step guide to how I made the sledge, with images of the processes I undertook to create it.
Firstly, I got the technician to cut an 800mm x 800mm square out of 18mm MDF on the Table Saw.
I then marked out a 700mm x 700mm square in the centre for where the main body of the coffin will go.
Next the technician cut two more identical squares out of the same material. I then lightly sprayed the bottom of the first board with water.
After this I applied a thin layer of Gorilla Glue to the second board and then placed the first board on top; making sure the aligned and were flush.
I then placed stage weights on all sides of the squares and two on top to keep them in place and force them together.
I repeated the last three steps to attach the second and the third board together too.
